Prickley Pear Monday Post

Winter Comfort
On this card I used the two stamps Lg. Cozy by Mantle (JJ0079) and Winter is the Time (GG0161) by Prickley Pear. I colored the image with my Copics, cut it out, layered it on a diecut (Labels Three by Spellbinders). Layered that in turn on pattern paper from the Mistletoe Collection by BoBunny, that went on solid green cardstock and then onto the red card. The little photo corners are punched from the same red cardstock as the card, and the punch is by EK Success.

Prickley Pear Cardinal Card

I used the Cardinal 2 Clear Stamp Set and Cardinal die from Prickley Pear Stamps. The cardinal was colored with Copics, R20 through R29 and G40, 43 and 46.
The Holly Leaves chipboard border is by Make It Crafty. I used Brilliance Ivy and a little Sage (on the leaf edges).
The saying and upper edge of patterned paper were puched with EK Success punches.

Not stamping related...

but very important!
If there are any ladies from the Ft. Myers, FL area stopping in, I want to share this info with you. I've taken the class myself, and highly recommend it.

Prickley Pear Monday Card

This week I used the Prickley Pear Christmas Tree Die, Christmas Tree 2 Clear Stamp Set and Swirls and Snowflakes stamp on my card "Snowfall".
The trees and saying were stamped with Tsukineko's purple Encore ink, the Swirls and Snowflakes were stamped with the Glue Pad, also from Tsukineko, and then I put microfine glitter on top. This is actually stamped on the white die cut background, close up shot is below.
The die I used for the background is a Tim Holtz die from Sizzix.
Last, but not least, the chipboard snowflake border and snowflake are both from Make It Crafty.
I covered the chipboard pieces first with Brilliance White ink, then used the Glue Pad again, and lots of glitter on top. Oh, and a very light spraying of Fireworks Grape Jelly spray on top of the snowflake border.
