IT'S HERE!

I have to let you know really quick! The new Copic Coloring Guide - Level 2: Nature just came in. It's not even out of the box yet.
I can't wait to sit down and peruse my copy tonight!

Giving me trouble!

This upcoming workshop is giving me trouble! Now it looks like I won't have the class materials on time. BUT, never fear, the show will go on. And the price will be lower, $5.00 now. We will make two cards using the Glitter Ritz and Copic markers. One card we will stamp, using the Dress Form stamp from Loralie Design and on the other we will use one of the stickers from Elizabeth Craft Design.
So, you see, we'll still have fun. And if you haven't worked with this glitter before, it's not like any other glitter you've ever seen. Or touched.
Below is a picture of the Dress Form. Isn't it just too much fun?
Loralie Design is a new stamp line here at The Stamproom. Click on this link, http://www.thestamproom.com/search.aspx?manufacturer=41 and it will take you directly to the Loralie Design's page.Go check it out! Fun, cute and elegant! You can't go wrong.

March 4th Project.

I had hoped to have it finished and uploaded for you to see by tomorrow, but that is not happening. Found out Suzanne Dean is teaching a class down in Bonita Springs where my daughter lives. And I really need to get away for a few days, so guess what? ROADTRIP!
Funny thing though, my daughter doesn't seem so thrilled. EEK, I've turned into my mother.

Everything but the kitchen sink!

Well, no, not quite. I used a lot of Prickley Pear stamps, their Steampunk Locomotive and their brand new clear Steampunk stamp set with coordinating die. In the right bottom corner is one of the chipboard corners from Make It Crafty. I used the new Fran-tage Aged Aqua Embossing Enamel, and a little bit of ivory, on a couple of the gears as well as the chipboard corner. Hmm, what else, oh yeah, the little saying "Bon Voyage" comes from Kimmie's Steampunk Sentiments set. Gotta love StazOn, right?
Last but not least, the Steampunk Locomotive was colored with..(drumroll)  COPICS! I used the BG70's for the wings and mainly Y20's for the "body". Hope you like it, I had so much fun putting this together.

For my local gals!

How about a workshop? We'll do a Sunday this time,  March 4th at 1pm? I'll send out emails to the normal crew.
There may be others here in Jacksonville that are interested, please get in touch with me and let me know if you'd like to come.. Due to space, I am never able to have large classes, but we can always repeat one. Email me at kina@thestamproom.com.
Supplies and prep is going to be a little more than usual for me so class cost will be $20.00.
Hope to see you on the 4th!!

Look at all the new stuff!!!

And more is on the way. Ok, let's see what's new:
From Stampendous, Fran-tage Color Fragments, Aged Embossing Enamels, Mica Fragments, all of their Steampunk stamps as well as other stamps.
Make It Crafty came out with gorgeous chipboard frames in various sizes, as well as new corners.
We got the Microfine Glitter Ritz, as well as various stickers that you can use with it. If you haven't seen this latest craze, just go to You-tube and type in Glitter Ritz. You'll have lot's of demos to choose from.
Let's see, the new Memento colors are on their way (I hope), as will the new Copics be as soon as they're available.
Prickley Pear came out with 4 new clear stamp set with coordinating dies. Yes, they are in.
I have also started getting in 6 x 6 and 8 x 8 paper pads with coordinating stamps, and other goodies. The first installment of that should be up and available tonight.
I will be adding a new stamp line, Lorelai Designs. Placed my first order last night.
Well, I could actually go on, but then I'd ruin all the surprises, wouldn't I?

How long has it been?!

I'm almost embarrassed. It's just hard to keep up sometimes.
I do have a few new samples, and I do have lots of new stamps and other fun stuff in The Stamproom. And yes, STEAMPUNK! Love it.
This first sample uses the "Steampunk Drifter" from Prickley Pear.

Next come two Valentine's cards. I know, it's a little late in the game. What can I say.
Ok, "Heart with Daisy's" from Prickley Pear and "Melinda Hugging Heart" from Whiff of Joy.

I have loads of half finished cards on my desk. I won't be getting to them tonight though. They are buried under a big shipment from Stampendous. Maybe tomorrow.
