Did you save any of your Christmas money? lol

A few new things.

It's later.

Alright, here it is. I have the hardest time getting the lighting right when I take pictures. And Photoshop and I are NOT good friends. This is true of all my sample pictures, not just this one. Anyways, a great big congratulations to my daughter Alex on her graduation from college.
BTW - this peacock stampset is a clear stamp set by Stampendous. There are still more at The Stamproom. www.thestamproom.com

Spring is coming!

I know, I know. Christmas is this weekend. But spring really is coming. And Valentine's. I have gotten a nice shipment in from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps with spring stamps. I LOVE their stamp sets with coordinating dies. There are hearts, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, birds.....
Also new are stamps from Stamping Bella and some fun sentiments by Studio 490. You'll see, I have one sample in mind, something we've all thought or said, about "putting your big girl panties on".

Ok, I'll be back later today. My daughter graduated college this past weekend, and being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't actually finish her card until last night. So, when she wakes up, I'm "borrowing the card, taking a picture, and uploading it.  So, later Gator.

12th already!!

Wow, it's December 12th already! Not only is Christmas approaching rapidly (and my Christmas cards are nowhere in sight) BUT, a quick visit from my oldest daughter this morning made me realize that her birthday has snuck up on me. It's tomorrow, and it's her 30th!!! Not a small thing. So, my thinking cap is on, and there will be some shopping done today. Which means I need to get off the computer and "get to work".
Happy Monday!

New Elisabeth Bell stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. They are so adorable! Go check them out under JUST IN! at www.thestamproom.com.

Sunday, December 4, 2011

Can you believe it? No Copics!

Here's a card I made the other day, and I just realized, I didn't use Copics. Very unusual for me.
I used the Prickley Pear Cardinal stamp set and die.

New Vendor

I've added "Make It Crafty" as a vendor. They've got such fun stamps. And I ordered some chipboard from them as well. (Trying to branch out a little.)
WOW!! Talk about some detail! I've been looking for decorative photocorners for cards, and Make It Crafty had some in their chipboard sets. I am in LOVE!!!  You'll see their "Swirly Corners" on most of my cards from now on, trust me.

Coming Soon!!

I am adding a new line to The Stamproom, Make It Crafty, from Australia. Fun, cute, quirky...I just love their stamps. They also have great chipboard shapes. So I thought we'd try some of those too. Make I Crafty should be here any day!!

Also keep an eye out for brand new images by Elisabeth Bell. These are from Sweet Pea Stamps. Sweet Pea is one of my favorite companies, and when they added Elisabeth Bell as one of their artists, I was thrilled!

Early Start!

We got an early start on Cyber Monday. Ok, just a few hours, but still.
So let the fun begin.

Thursday, November 24, 2011

Cyber Monday!

The Stamproom will be participating in Cyber Monday!
I think I'm going to do a sweeping 50% off throughout the store! NO rainchecks though. Sorry.
This will be a great opportunity to pick up somer Copics, since I still haven't had a chance to mark them up.

Happy Turkey Day!

Well, not at my house. I'm more of a Cornish Hen kinda girl myself.
Here's a little Thanksgiving greeting that I "threw together" yesterday.
(LOL! There is no such thing as throwing a card together for me. I agonize over every little detail.)

The Winter Series Inks are in!

They actually got here yesterday. I haven't played with them yet, just made little color samples. And they are gorgeous! I'm not just saying that because I want to sell more inkpads, I really like the colors.
One of my customers, you know who you are, (Thomas) paired them with the Stampendous Aspen Embossing Powder Kit. Looks like a great color combo.

I got a couple of other goodies in the same shipment as the inkpads, 3 different Tim Holtz Alterations Dies, Autumn Gathering, Festive Greenery and Vintage Lace. They're Sizzlit Dies. I also got the Matte and Vintage colored GlazOn from Tsukineko. You use those with their StazOn inks. If you go to their website, http://www.tsukineko.com/, they have some directions and projects.

Ok, time for me to go to. TTYL!

Sweet Pea Challenge

I found another challenge. This one is at Sweet Pea Stamps. My first challenge with them is going to be easy - "Anything Goes". It doesn't even have to be a Sweet Pea stamp.  Like I said - easy. But I will be using one of their stamps.

Another Challenge Entry

Thought I'd share this card with you. I love this little couple from Magnolia, they are just so sweet. I came across it when I was looking for a card to enter into a challenge. Didn't get my intended card finished, so I'm using what I've already done.

NEW STAMP COMPANY!!

The Prickley Pear Rubber Stamp Company has officially been added to our family.  When I placed my order with them, the list seemed so long, but now that it's here... I need more.
I don't have a sample card done yet, but here is a stamp set with it's coordinating die.

It's Raining, It's Pouring..

Where I grew up, in Sweden, it rained a lot in the fall, and here in Florida it has been raining on and off for days now. Which is pretty unusual for us. So here's a card to fit the weather.

A Few New Bundles.

Just added a few new bundles, including a milk and dark chocolate bundle. Just in time for National Chocolate Day!
Thank you to Colleen who shared her "recipe" with me.

I am adding a new stamp company - Prickley Pear. Love their stamps, and they have all these sets with coordinating dies. My first order should be here soon!

And last but not least, I'm sharing two Halloween cards with you. Not my greatest creations, by far, but it'll give you an idea of what the stamps look like on paper.

National Chocolate Day

Woo Hoo!
I love these holidays! The last one we celebrated was th Cheesecake Day. Now, on October 28th, it's National Chocolate Day. I will however NOT be making my own chocolate. Cheesecakes I can do, chocolate, not so much.
Anyways, to celebrate, you get 30% off your purchase at The Stamproom from today, October 6th through October 28th  (Copic Markers are excluded). All you have to do is is put in the secret code word - chocoholic - when they ask for it during check-out.
Have fun!!

Samples!

Love, love, love this girl! Part of the Creeper Crew from The Greeting Farm. She is from the kit Sweet n' Toxic.

Stampendous would be proud of me!  I used their Batty owls set, Spider Web and Velvet Bat stickers.  The owls are colored with Copics, of course.

Isn't she too sweet? Little Curls from Sweet Pea Stamps, the artist is Elisabeth Bell. I had fun paper piecing the roses at the top.

Just In!!

You have to check out the new Seasonal Distress Inks. It's a limited edition in 3 harvest colors.
Jolee's came out with a whole line of dimensional Steampunk stickers.  They are soo cool. Even though I am a die hard stamper, I have to admit, sometimes stickers are just what you need.

Everything I had hoped for,

and more!!
Great couple of days in Orlando, even though class was only one day. Lots of info packed into one long day. Now we are supposed to practice, practice, practice. Some of us need it more than others.
Met some wonderful and interesting people from up and down the East Coast.

If any of you have the opportunity to take a class with Colleen Schaan,  who is the Regional Copic Certification Instructor - South/East Coast, grab that opportunity. She is great, lots of fun and an excellent teacher.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011

Off to Orlando!

Tomorrow is the Copic Intermediate Certification Class in Orlando, and yours truly will be attending. I am very excited, although it will be a long day.
I'm sure I'll tell you all about it when I get back.

Halloween is creeping up on us.

This is my favorite Halloween stamps sofar this year. It's the "Mumpkin" from Stampendous. He is soo CUTE!!
The little sayings were stamped on the ribbon and come from "Kimmie's Halloween Sentiments" by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

You have to check out the JUST IN section in my store. Lots of new things, and I just added NEW STAMPS FROM STAMPAVIE.  Here's a quick link to the store, http://www.thestamproom.com/.

On a roll!

Really, I am on a roll today.
This little mermaid is "Syren" from the Creeper Crew by The Greeting Farm.
Shortly after I had made this sample I had a little Open House at The Stamproom. I guess people liked my sample because I almost sold out in one afternoon. I think there's one left.
Anyways, "Syren" will be perfect for the Blue-Green Challenge at Copic Creations. Yes, there's a blinkie on the left. Check it out.

Ok, I think that's it for today. Have to make more samples now.

Winged Things.

"Winged Things" is the title of the current challenge for CMC (Color Me Creative). I've got a "blinkie" on the left.
This stamp is by Bridgid Ashwood from Sweet Pea Stamps. It's from the sheet Phunky Phairies #1.
If you haven't visited any of these challenges you really should. SOOO many talented people.
"I'm not worthy!"

Summer Green!

Just finished this card of Edwin and his Lizard, from Magnolia. I also used their Waterfall background. I wish I could tell you which Copic colors I used,  but I haven't quite gotten in the good habit of keeping track of that as I am coloring away. I'll try to do better. Scout's honor.

Sunday, August 28, 2011

All is well!

The wayward stamp shipment showed Friday. You HAVE to check out the new stamps. The steampunk halloween ones are so much fun.  Just look under Inkadinkado.  Here's a sample:

We also got stamps from Sweet Pea. Their first three exclusive designs from Elisabeth Bell, a very cool fall cat and more.

I really need to set up a "Just In" section on the website, don't I?

Thursday, August 25, 2011

Oh no!

There is a wayward stamp order! It should have been here earlier this week. I think it got sent to our old address. This is such an exciting order too. It's a mix of companies. Some cool steampunk from both Inkadinkado and Technique Tuesday, a few Stamping Bella,  and I believe there is one lonely chrismas stamp from Magenta.
Oh well, it'll be here soon.

Wednesday, August 24, 2011

Woo Hoo!

The latest release from The Greeting Farm!!
So new, I don't think I'm allowed to put them up yet! I'll have to double check. But they are cute. There's a new Miss Anya set, Creeper Crew Lula, Boho Anya, Logan and, a clear stampset. This one is called Fairy Princess, soo cute.

New stamps, and more, from Stampendous!

We got some new Stampendous items in. First of all, the Stufftainers have been replenished. All three sizes.
And lots of stamps. Some cute Halloween, some scary Halloween, a little Christmas, and a few everyday stamps.
So go take a look. Shop a little.  AND, have a great weekend!

Time Flies!!

Can't believe it's the 12th of August already! I'm not really sure where this past week went.
Well, the good news is that I do have some orders on the way. Stampendous and Stampavie for instance.  Quite a few Christmas stamps in those orders. Scary isn't it, time to think about Christmas cards already?

Well, here are two samples I just made. Totally non Christmas related.

The first one is the "Everyday Princess" from Stamping Bella. She is by Christy Croll.

The second one has a somewhat more tropical feel. LOL. This is the "Parrott" from Magnolia. He/they are sitting on the "Vine", also from Magnolia.

Hope everybody has a great weekend involving lots of stamping (and maybe a little shopping at thestamproom.com ).

Thursday, August 4, 2011

Another challenge!

This one is for the Color Me Creative,  Red, Turqoise & White/Cream challenge.
I used a stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps, one of my favorite companies. You can find Sweet Pea Stamps and many others on my website, http://www.thestamproom.com/.

Fireworks Sprays from Tsukineko and Blush Society stamps from The Greeting Farm.

This is one of the latest samples to go up on my website. They're also new products. The stamps are from The Greeting Farm, it's their new line "Blush Society". I used Blush Babette, Blush Heart and Blush Hello. In the close-up you'll see the background that was sprayed with Tsukineko's new spray Fireworks. This is the Grape Jelly color. The Fireworks colors coordinate with the Memento inks, so I stamped the Blush Hello and Heart with the Memento Grape Jelly. I love how the sparkle from the spray comes through on the hearts. Babette was colored with Copics markers.

What a great way to start a blog! A card sent off to a challenge. This little girl is Surfing Tilda from Magnolia Stamps. You can purchase her on my website http://www.thestamproom.com/. With a little luck, and a lot of time, I will figure out how to linke my blog and website. LOL

Surfing Tilda has been colored with Copic Sketch Markers, which you can also find on my website, http://www.thestamproom.com/.
